This Movie is SO unoriginal. It reminds me of an old movie that came out over 10 years ago called “The Grudge”. Mama is about two little girls whose dad murdered the mom and then tried to kill them in a cabin in the woods, but a dark ghostly figure stops him. Then, the dark ghostly figure, called Mama, raises the little girls for five years until they are found in the cabin in the woods. Then they go live with their uncle and his girlfriend and Mama follows them and haunts and tries to kill the family. This movie has a TERRIBLE ending and the graphics in this movie suck. The only good things about this movie are that the little girls are cute and it has a good storyline.
By: Holly What are you missing?? By: Saige I cut myself today too, but it felt way too freaking real
I forgot there were no drugs to make it so I can’t feel
The blood ran down my arm and a tear ran down my cheek
People say that I am strong, but I’m really way too weak
The hurt I see in everyone’s eyes travels straight into my soul
I open up my thoughts with every joint I roll
When I talk to my family they can’t tell it’s all pretend
When everything that’s good in life must come to an end
I’ve come to the conclusion that if I just walk away
No one can leave or be taken and they will be ok
Inside my being is as jagged as crushed up broken glass
To all those boys who had my love I was just a piece of a So don’t try to hold my hand or push me into talking Because what comes out my mouth is way too gosh dang shocking Smile while you can, but I hope your tears don’t waste I hope that when I’ve gone to hell there’s a smile on your face I used to get up in the morning, because dreaming brought back all my bad But lately my dreams are black and waking up makes me so sad So if I killed myself today and had that endless dream Would I see myself all dead and smile, because I could finally succeed Or would I keep right on living as a ghost with nobody to hold Would I feel warm and fuzzy deep inside or would I feel the cold Would I still have my scars, would I still be real? But more important than anything: would I still be able to feel I don’t want to feel any love, cuz then I can get hurt I hope that I don’t feel the cold, cuz then I can get burnt This girl walks in the room and sits where my body used to lay She talks to my boyfriend on the phone every single day What she says buts anger in my mind Because now she has everything that I left behind When he comes over it’s her puts a smile on his face Why did she get so lucky as to take my place? She takes my seat in school and talks to my best friend She also had the nerve to put my addiction to an end She opens up her mind and tells people what she thinks How her past and her future, by her present has its links How if she would have given up she would never have learned how to not be alone She never could have seen that your life can heal like a broken bone As I listen to her speak to those who need her help I look into her eyes and I see myself I wake up from my dream, my perspective turned around I listen for my heartbeat and notice I hear a sound That girl was me living what I would have given away But hopes, dreams, and love all made me want to stay
Hello. My name Is Kat, I am here at A.R.T.E.C in the girls unit. A couple of nights ago, I got some very bad news. I have a daughter named Avery, and her father (my ex) died in his sleep on December 2nd. I wrote a poem about it, and I hope you like it. In loving memory. R.I.P BRANDON MICHEAL<3 There was once this insightful guy – He went to sleep on a December night – he awoke the next day from the very hard sleep – as he walked out of his room, he felt light on his feet. – the red walls in the kitchen had an unsightly gray – he looked out the window and knew something was wrong that day – the house was quiet, and the air felt muggish – he tried to think aloud but his words sounded sluggish – he stumbled on his feet as he tried to turn around – he had a feeling he didn’t want to know what he was about to find out – he ran to the bathroom, and looked in the mirror – his brown eyes were going light, and his sight went unclear – he heard a loud scream from the room across – it was his sister, crying “his heart has stopped” – he ran into the room, and said “who?” – terror filled his lungs as he saw what she saw too – he looked at the body, laying on his bed – it looked like him, the same body, the same dark hair on his head. – His sister was on the body that was limp – she screamed “wake up Brandon, life is not giving up on you like this!” – She forced her hand to beat like a heart on his chest – she knew it was too late, but she still tried her best – disbelief in his voice, he said “Chelsea I’m right here! That’s not me!” – She didn’t say a word, all she could do was weep. – His mother ran through him into the room – “Chelsea what’s wrong” – “mom I’m sorry, I tried so hard, Brandon’s gone.” – his mom didn’t move, all she did was stare. – waiting for her son to show a sign he was still there – “mom I’m awake” he said, “please listen” – everybody was there, crying in the door, that’s when it hit, and his eyes started to glisten. – he cried “how did this happen, I’m standing right here – I’m alive and well, look at me mom, isn’t it clear?” – They all sat down on the bed next to him – his lips had turned purple, and so was his skin – he stood alone across the room, watching as his family cries – he said a silent word, and didn’t open his eyes – he knew he wasn’t there anymore – he waited for his judgment, as he walked out of the door – this must be a dream, a sick joke – even though it wasn’t true, all he could do was hope – he kept on going, and never looked back – he didn’t want to think about the life he once had – going against his wishes, he felt the regret – he felt all the anger, and the sadness that set – he looked up to the white blinding sky – he yelled to the clouds, and asked, “WHY” – “ why did I go; I know my life was nothing but glass – waiting to be broken to be shattered at last – I know I have sinned, I know all the hate – to me its to soon, but to them its too late” – he looked down and hoped this would end – he was confused and hurt, knowing it already did – “What about my friends, my family, my love? – they have all been taken away from me, wasn’t that enough? – My mom never cared, my real dad is already gone – why isn’t he here? Helping me find a way to come undone?” – “God,” he said, “I’m so young I haven’t even lived” – the silence grew louder, and he didn’t lift his chin. – When he finally looked above, he saw a building straight ahead – he started walking faster, no reason to be said. – he looked inside the building and felt a lonely energy pull – he saw six girls decorating, the house was full – but he felt something stronger, as he looked through the glass – then he saw her pain streaked face, and knew her in a flash. – sorrow filled his phantom chest, as he saw her tears – she must have heard the news, because he saw her every fear – he watched as he sobbed – she turned on what was once their song – he felt her sorry, her regret, her shame – he remembered the day she walked away, the day he knew things would never be the same – she still loved him, that he was sure – he wasn’t sure why she left, their love was once pure – he sat there and listened, not wanting to leave – when there song was over, he didn’t want to stop, didn’t want to believe. – anger filled his eyes, as she went to talk to her friend – he hated seeing her down, but he had a secret envy that her pain would never end – the girl cried all night, she said “ you to God” – she didn’t even believe it, this was happening by fraud. - he looked into her distant eyes, trying so hard to be seen – she looked straight into his soul, and said, “please let me see him in my dreams” – he stayed right there, and waited for her to doze – once she was unconscious, everything froze – the memories of everyday of his life – flashed through his mind like traveling in time – he didn’t want to let go of the moments his heart stopped beating – he didn’t want to forget what it was like to keep breathing – he saw every fight, every shot, every second chance – he laughed when he told everybody he didn’t dance – it felt these flash backs were gone in a rush – but he remembered why, because there wasn’t much – he felt no hope, no worth, no reason – he knows this is forever, not just for the season – he wanted to keep the look in his mother’s eyes – he wanted to take back every time he lied – “what did I do so wrong?” he said, “that felt so right?” – “was it really bad enough to take away my life?”- There’s so many questions, but the answers were silent. – even when you’re dead, he thought, the world isn’t as vibrant….
Book review: Perfect by Ellen Hopkins Perfect is the sad reality of teenager’s life. Although it is captured by different perceptions such as popularity, eating disorders, depression, etc. I believe that it says what most people choose to ignore. Through the entire book my opinion kept changing. I went from loving one character, to loving another. I was intrigued the entire time, and could not wait to turn to the next page. I do hope if you ever read this book, you’ll love it as much as I do. By Alex I.
Book Review : Eragon by Christian Paolini I think this was a really adventurous and exciting novel. The book is about a boy who finds a dragon egg while hunting in the forest. He thinks it’s just a stone, but a few days later it hatches for him. After that a lot of crazy events ensue. There’s rarely a moment where you’re left bored with the story. I really recommend to anyone who hasn’t read this book to definitely read it. It’s a medieval age based book with all kinds of different animals and races. So if you like adventure books with dragons, explosions and action then this is probably the book for you.By Cameron

I feel Christmas should be a day where families should gather together on one day to enjoy each other’s company and RELAX. To me this day should be at least 1 day where everyone can be stress free.

Book reviews: a Stolen Life
The book I’m going to talk about is A Stolen Life. It is a really sad story about how this little girl gets kidnapped at the age of 8. She was missing for 10 years and this is based on a true story. This guy that kidnapped her fed her, gave her a place to sleep and everything, because he wanted to make her as his own. Like 3 cops came to his house and she had so many times to escape, but she just stood there. He took her to stores and stuff and she just stood with him the whole time. Until one day someone came up to her and said do you need help. Someone called the cops and that’s all I’m going to tell you about this book. So you should go find and read this book. It’s a really sad book. But at the same time the best book you could read this whole year.

My favorite technological thing I find interesting is a supercomputer. The supercomputer is a very powerful object. The supercomputer is so powerful it can reverse gravity. They have over 2000 supercomputers in the world and only 10 in America. The supercomputer costs about $1,000,000,000 to buy.

I usually don’t like Christmas, not very many people do. It’s usually a difficult time of year for everyone. I’m excited for this year though, because I get to go see my dad. It's been two years since I’ve seen him, so I’m ecstatic. I also like decorating, actually I love decorating. I also have a tradition of making Christmas cookies. I’m excited for that too. So for me Christmas is hard, but I’m finding positive ways to distract myself. I’m making Christmas easier for myself.

There was once this insightful guy –
He went to sleep on a December night –
he awoke the next day from the very hard sleep –
as he walked out of his room, he felt light on his feet. –
the red walls in the kitchen had an unsightly gray –
he looked out the window and knew something was wrong that day –
the house was quiet, and the air felt muggish –
he tried to think aloud but his words sounded sluggish –
he stumbled on his feet as he tried to turn around –
he had a feeling he didn’t want to know what he was about to find out –
he ran to the bathroom, and looked in the mirror –
his brown eyes were going light, and his sight went unclear –
he heard a loud scream from the room across –
it was his sister, crying “his heart has stopped” –
he ran into the room, and said “who?” –
terror filled his lungs as he saw what she saw too –
he looked at the body, laying on his bed –
it looked like him, the same body, the same dark hair on his head. –
His sister was on the body that was limp –
she screamed “wake up Brandon, life is not giving up on you like this!” –
She forced her hand to beat like a heart on his chest –
she knew it was too late, but she still tried her best –
disbelief in his voice, he said “Chelsea I’m right here! That’s not me!” –
She didn’t say a word, all she could do was weep. –
His mother ran through him into the room –
“Chelsea what’s wrong” –
“mom I’m sorry, I tried so hard, Brandon’s gone.” –
his mom didn’t move, all she did was stare. –
waiting for her son to show a sign he was still there –
“mom I’m awake” he said, “please listen” –
everybody was there, crying in the door, that’s when it hit, and his eyes started to glisten. –
he cried “how did this happen, I’m standing right here –
I’m alive and well, look at me mom, isn’t it clear?” –
They all sat down on the bed next to him –
his lips had turned purple, and so was his skin –
he stood alone across the room, watching as his family cries –
he said a silent word, and didn’t open his eyes –
he knew he wasn’t there anymore –
he waited for his judgment, as he walked out of the door –
this must be a dream, a sick joke –
even though it wasn’t true, all he could do was hope –
he kept on going, and never looked back –
he didn’t want to think about the life he once had –
going against his wishes, he felt the regret – he felt all the anger, and the sadness that set –
he looked up to the white blinding sky –
he yelled to the clouds, and asked, “WHY” – “
why did I go; I know my life was nothing but glass –
waiting to be broken to be shattered at last –
I know I have sinned, I know all the hate – to me its to soon, but to them its too late” –
he looked down and hoped this would end –
he was confused and hurt, knowing it already did –
“What about my friends, my family, my love? –
they have all been taken away from me, wasn’t that enough? –
My mom never cared, my real dad is already gone –
why isn’t he here? Helping me find a way to come undone?” –
“God,” he said, “I’m so young I haven’t even lived” –
the silence grew louder, and he didn’t lift his chin. –
When he finally looked above, he saw a building straight ahead –
he started walking faster, no reason to be said. –
he looked inside the building and felt a lonely energy pull –
he saw six girls decorating, the house was full –
but he felt something stronger, as he looked through the glass –
then he saw her pain streaked face, and knew her in a flash. –
sorrow filled his phantom chest, as he saw her tears – she must have heard the news, because he saw her every fear –
he watched as he sobbed –
she turned on what was once their song –
he felt her sorry, her regret, her shame –
he remembered the day she walked away, the day he knew things would never be the same –
she still loved him, that he was sure –
he wasn’t sure why she left, their love was once pure –
he sat there and listened, not wanting to leave –
when there song was over, he didn’t want to stop, didn’t want to believe. –
anger filled his eyes, as she went to talk to her friend –
he hated seeing her down, but he had a secret envy that her pain would never end –
the girl cried all night, she said “ you to God” –
she didn’t even believe it, this was happening by fraud. -
he looked into her distant eyes, trying so hard to be seen –
she looked straight into his soul, and said, “please let me see him in my dreams” –
he stayed right there, and waited for her to doze –
once she was unconscious, everything froze –
the memories of everyday of his life –
flashed through his mind like traveling in time –
he didn’t want to let go of the moments his heart stopped beating –
he didn’t want to forget what it was like to keep breathing –
he saw every fight, every shot, every second chance –
he laughed when he told everybody he didn’t dance –
it felt these flash backs were gone in a rush –
but he remembered why, because there wasn’t much –
he felt no hope, no worth, no reason –
he knows this is forever, not just for the season –
he wanted to keep the look in his mother’s eyes –
he wanted to take back every time he lied –
“what did I do so wrong?” he said, “that felt so right?” –
“was it really bad enough to take away my life?”-
There’s so many questions, but the answers were silent. –
even when you’re dead, he thought, the world isn’t as vibrant….
Its called, “The never ending poem” Because I Do not know where to end. I do not know God, I do not know the devil, and I’m not sure which one he chose. I have many more parts to this poem, but it is very long so I wont write it all. I hope you guys know that life is truly short. He was 19 years old. Please don’t take anything for granted…
